I am officially on the Joe Alexander bandwagon after the postings of measurements and combine results. They reek of athleticism off the charts; couple that with his freakish intensity level and desire to thoroughly dominate his opponents creates one sick dude.
He will probably have to make a decision to either work on his ball handling, quickness, and jump shot if he wants to play SF or work on his strength and discipline to make it as a PF at the pro level. Most likely the PF spot would be the better choice because it will be difficult to work on quickness as he continues to age. Naturally he will get stronger.
The knack against him is consistency and discipline and I think with proper coaching at the next level this is certain to improve.
As a Wolves fan I am hoping we can figure a way to trade down and nab him. It would seem at #3 to be a stretch, but perhaps 10 years from now it would look genius. As for now, I'm liking Randolph and Alexander. Either way, Big Al needs help!
